Now this week’s artist is one of those examples of how far behind we here in Austria are when it comes to music. He became really famous here in 2012 even though he works in this business a lot longer. And this really bugs me, since music is such a big part of my life and I always have to check back with my american friends for what’s new. Usually it takes about half a year or even a whole year for something that’s famous there to “reach” us.
I loved his “first hit” the moment I heard it. The song I used for today’s tutorial isn’t even that popular here. The song and artist I’m talking about are:

So you know, when you are on YouTube and the video you were looking at is over, YT gives you some suggestions for videos you might like. So after I ignored this recommendation for a couple times, I decided to click the link called “YouTube Mix”. So while I was doing some stuff at home, this mix was running in the background. And as soon as I heard the first tune of today’s “Music Friday” song, I almost ran to my laptop to check what that song is called. It was:

So this week I had a completely different approach on Music Friday.
I love this look, I wear it all the time and I wanted to show it to you so bad, but I just couldn’t find a song that I thought matched perfectly – well until the beginning of this week where my best friend told me I HAVE to listen to this song, because it is soo beautiful. She sent me the link, I listened to it and all I could think about is how perfect it is for this look. So I was like “thank you, thank you, thank you” but she had no idea what I was talking about.

I chose this song in dedication for my last trip to the states and because I miss being there so much. I’ve heard this song before I went there about two or three times, but I wasn’t really impressed. Then it became my/our favorite “driving around” song. Me and Andrea were always turning up the volume to the max and singing along. We even did a video of us singing in the car ..well at least we tried :D

Another big part of my life I haven’t shared with you yet is music. I can’t and wouldn’t want to live without it. The first thing I do in the morning is turn the radio on. I’m always singing, no matter where I am, even at work or while studying. Most of the people around me, even though they think I have a pretty voice, are super annoyed of that, but I just can’t help it :D
