Hey Hey my little Beauty Munchkins!
I saw this the other day on Pinterest and I just HAD to copy it. Why you ask?! Because I think it is super cute and I just LOVE penguins. They have a really special meaning to me and bring back a wonderful memory that is so sweet and funny :)
These are my two favorite things in my little penguin collection: a phone case for my SGS2 and of course Mr. Pingu! (yes, I know..I’m 24 and should have gotten rid of all stuffed animals by now, but I just can’t live without him!)
But enough with the melancholy and let’s get to it!
I started out with painting 4 nails black. For that I used Essence – 144 Black is Black. On the middle finger I applied s.he – 300 (too bad these colors don’t have names).
Make sure to use a white base under the dark yellow one, because it is very sheer and the white helps to brighten it up. Honestly I have to say, I’m not a big fan of s.he polishes or even the makeup line in general, but I had this one at home and the color was just perfect for this design. After letting it dry, I painted a white oval on the ring finger with a tip painter from Essence.
Then I took my dotting tool and made two black dots a little bit below the center of the nail – these are the eyes. After that I applied two bigger dots on the tip of my nails for the feet and made a little triangle shape under the eyes for the nose with the yellow shade.
And that’s it – it is that easy ;)
Here is my finished look! I hope you love it as much as I do! I will definitely wear this a lot in the future.
