Dear Revlon "China Flower" Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel
It all started a couple of months ago, when I first saw you standing there among all your friends in the top shelf looking super fancy. I mean even your name told me you're elegant.
I’m always a bit skeptical when clothing brands or stores come out with a makeup line and today I want to try out some stuff I found at H&M and see if I will go back there to purchase more beauty stuff or not. :)
With standing ovations and a round of applause I want to show you the Essence Bloom Me Up! Tools Limited Edition. Lovely people of Essence you have outdone yourself with this collection.
The moment when you rediscover an old product is one of the most fun and happy ones – don’t you think? Something like that happened to me with the product I want to show you today.
Maybe you’ve been attentive enough throughout the last couple of weeks, to recognized that I actually started to wear lipsticks - stunning, I know :D
I talked about this topic a couple of times, but in case you didn’t know: I never really liked lipsticks and lip glosses and stuff like this. I had my lip butters to keep them moisturized, but that was about it.
Now I found some lipsticks, which really changed my mind about wearing them.
As we are getting closer to the Winter it is now more important than ever to protect your skin from dryness and the cold, windy and rough weather. That’s why I decided to make a series on what you can do to keep your skin soft and moisturized.
I want to start with a post on lip products – very unusual for me – because my lips are super sensitive for coldness and they start to get chapped and dry before my hands or skin do.
If I would tell you now, how much I love mascaras I would be repeating myself over and over again, because you might probably know this by now ;)
So when I saw this new product, I immediately had to get it. Of course with the hope that it is not just a gimmick.
So for almost 2 years now I've been swearing on my Sigma brushes and even though I still could not live without them I've found another little helper that does an AMAZING job in applying foundation :)
Yes, I know..today is Friday. Which usually means there is a Music Friday post coming up, but I just went down to check my mailbox and I had to share this with you ASAP :D
Last year I decided to jump on the subscription-box-train and ordered Glossybox. It was always a lot more worth than I paid, so that was a good thing. But this is where the good things end. I never had more than one thing in each box that I really liked. And for my taste there were way too many face creams and serums in it. I always had the feeling that they don’t really care about your beauty profile, so why even bother making one?!
After 6 month of trial and a lot of error I decided to stop the subscription.
As you may have noticed, if you follow my blog regularly, there is one brand that stands out the most. One I absolutely couldn’t live without: Catrice
It has the best value-for-money ratio I’ve ever seen and the cutest names for their products. So first of all a big THANK YOU to all the people at Catrice for making me so damn happy :D
So I thought I’d show you my most favorite products of this brand (so far..I bet there will be a lot more coming).
This product was recommended to me by one of my closest friends (THANK YOU Andrea). At first I didn’t
even want to get it since I already have soo many purple eye shadows, but she
talked me into it..and I am SO glad. In an instant this became my one and only
favorite MAC eye shadow ever: Fig. 1
