Hey Hey my little Beauty Munchkins!
Yes, I know..today is Friday. Which usually means there is a Music Friday post coming up, but I just went down to check my mailbox and I had to share this with you ASAP :D
Over a year ago I discovered my love for Sigma. I have a couple of brushes from them including my absolute favorite F80 Flat Kabuki. There is no other brush that I love more for applying foundation.
So exactly two weeks ago, I wanted to wash all my brushes, as I regularly do.
As I was washing my F80 I noticed fibers getting loose and coming out, not just a couple, but really big patches (as you can see in the pictures down below).
First I was really confused, because I didn’t know why that happened. I didn’t change my washing routine and all of the other brushes where fine. Then I was just disappointed and kind of “angry” because I would have to order a new one, when this is only a little bit over a year old.
So I went to the Costumer Service part on the Sigma website and wrote them an email. Explaining the problem I have and if they know why that happened or if there are others who have the same problem and what I could do about it.
Just two hours later I got an email saying that I should please send them my shipping address and they will send me a replacement.
So I just got home from coffee time with my friends and checked my mail box and in it was my new F80 :D Also they send me a discount code for 10% off on my future purchase. The card with the code on it even has a hand-written signature on it.
I really have to say, I’ve never ever seen such a good customer service. Especially here in Austria, most of the brands (of course not all) don’t even have a proper customer service, to which you can turn in times you have problems like this. And then it took only two weeks for my new brush to arrive – I’m stunned :D
So a BIG BIG BIG thank you to Sigma and all the people who work there :)
I will definitely purchase a lot more brushes from them, since I think the value-for-money ratio they have, for brushes, is absolutely brilliant and I wouldn’t want to do my makeup without these brushes anymore.
Thank you Nichole, I certainly will. I hope you have a beautiful day too :)
I'm glad there was a happy ending to the brush fiasko. I love Sigma!
