Hey Hey my little Beauty Munchkins!
As I already told you in my Manicure Monday – Wheels On Fire post at the beginning of this week I went on a little shopping spree. To be exact it was just a Catrice Limited Edition “Hip Trip” shopping spree :D What I like to do when a new LE comes out is first search the web what will be in it. Most of the time I already know when I look at stuff on the Catrice website what I will buy from it and what not, but this LE kinda surprised me.
The first thing that surprised me was that the limited edition was already out two weeks ago as the official start was just yesterday. Second thing: it was the first time ever that I went to my closest drugstore and the whole collection was still there. I was almost in shock, because usually I get there and half the stuff is gone, mostly of course the things I wanted so I have to go to 5 different drugstores to find what I want or call a friend or I don’t know.
Let me just say I don’t like my nearest drugstore, because you never know when they start to sell LE’s and stuff, they don’t keep to the schedule, they just do whatever they want. And for a LE addict like me this is a really horrible thing to deal with :D #firstworldproblems
However I did only get three pieces of the Hip Trip collection.
First of all I wanted to get the passport cover. It was on top of my list. I just thought it’s pretty. But when I got to the store I figured I didn’t really need it. First of all it’s pink and I don’t like pink things in general. Second I think that our passports look pretty good as they are. It just would have been handy to maybe store important papers and stuff when you’re travelling in the little flap thingy inside the cover where you can put the passport and it would have been easy to find in a big purse.
Oh well *sigh* maybe I should have bought it. Damn..now I regret not buying it. Maybe I will go and get it..we’ll see
So what I did get from my list, as you already know when you’ve seen this weeks Manicure Monday, was a nail polish – of course :D
Wheels On Fire
It is a coral pink shade with subtle silver shimmer. Love this for summer!
The second thing I got that was on my wish list was the Hydrating Bronzing Powder and this is perfect for my skin tone. With bronzers I always have the problem that they are too orange for me. So I’m really happy when I find one that matches. Also I really love the smell of it. It smells a little bit like coconut to me.
And the last thing I got was definitely not on my shopping list. You know I’m not that fond of lipsticks and lipglosses and all that stuff, but I swatched it on my hand when I was in the store and I absolutely fell in love with the color. It is the Sheer Lip Color – Wheels On Fire.
I think since I own this there was not one single day that I didn’t put it on. It is a pretty coral pink and it really enhances my lips and I don’t have the feeling that something is off, like I’m used to have with other lip products. So a big YES to a lucky find I would have never gotten if I didn’t try it in the shop.
