How are you lovely people?! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas time.
My last two days were packed full with family stuff and I looooved it.

Santa Clause, or the “Christkindl” as we call it here in Austria, was too good this year. Even though I’m almost 25 (yes, I am THAT old) I got a lot of gifts. Stuff for my apartment, clothes and perfumes (oh my god they smell so good!! I will definitely make a perfume post soon).
But the next 3 days, I will show you what I got myself for Christmas :)

This week’s Manicure Monday will be a bit different than expected. If you are following me on Instagram you may have seen my posts about the OPI polishes. A local drugstore is taking the OPIs out of their product range so all of the polishes where on sale for *biggest drumroll you have ever heard* €1,- instead of the original price from 14,-. Yes, you read right: ONE EURO.
To be honest, I never had any OPI polish, because it was always way too expensive for me, but how could I resist this, right?!

I was really happy with the way I stored it in my old apartment, because I didn’t have that much space, but I didn’t want to use the same “technique” in my new place. Especially because it is purple and my new room is dark blue. So up til now my 208 (yes, I know I have a problem) poor little babies were stuck in a big bag, with no light and definitely not enough love from me.

Last year I decided to jump on the subscription-box-train and ordered Glossybox. It was always a lot more worth than I paid, so that was a good thing. But this is where the good things end. I never had more than one thing in each box that I really liked. And for my taste there were way too many face creams and serums in it. I always had the feeling that they don’t really care about your beauty profile, so why even bother making one?!
After 6 month of trial and a lot of error I decided to stop the subscription.

I don’t know what happened to my nails during the last week, but they are broken and ripped and stained and dry and they feel weird. Now this week’s artist is one of those examples of how far behind we here in Austria are when it comes to music. He became really famous here in 2012 even though he works in this business a lot longer. And this really bugs me, since music is such a big part of my life and I always have to check back with my american friends for what’s new. Usually it takes about half a year or even a whole year for something that’s famous there to “reach” us.
I loved his “first hit” the moment I heard it. The song I used for today’s tutorial isn’t even that popular here. The song and artist I’m talking about are:

HOW I - dye my lashes and brows

When summer comes around, I like to just get out of the house and do stuff. Go to a park, lie at the pool or go for a coffee in the sun with my friends. And when the sun is hot and burning down, we all know that mascara starts to run (no, I don’t like to wear waterproof ones) and all the makeup you put on just seems to disappear. So what I like to do is wear nothing but some BB Cream with SPF to even out my skin tone and protect my skin – no mascara, eye shadow, blush or brow powder. To still enhance and define my face a bit I dye my lashes and brows, because I’m a natural blond and they are rather light.

Today I thought I’d give you a little inside on the Easter traditions from where I’m from.
I come from the south of Austria, from Villach to be exact.
We have a couple of traditions, like “egg rolling” or “tapping eggs” and of course the most important one where the kids search for hidden Easter baskets.
But to be honest, the one and only biggest tradition during Easter time is: FOOD!! :D
So I thought I’d share with you the most significant meals.

As you already know, if you read my Beauty Profile that is, I’m not really into girly accessory stuff. I don’t like earrings and times I wear necklaces or bracelets are very rare. The only things I really like are biiig big rings.

Today I’m gonna show you my favorite ones. I think there is not much to say about them, since you can see how they look like in the picture ;) I don’t remember where I bought each one of them, but all are from places like: H&M, C&A, Müller or SIX. So they were/are all very affordable.

The only really expensive accessory I have is my Michael Kors watch. I LOVE IT! I purchased it on my last trip to California. A dear friend of mine lives in San Diego and we did a day trip to Los Angeles and I bought it there in the Michael Kors Store in “The Grove”.

So today I thought I’d give you a little inside of my beauty life. And what’s a better way to do that than a tag?! I saw this tag on YouTube and I was just drawn to it. I don’t know why, but I just love everything that’s related to the seven deadly sins. I have pictures of this theme in my apartment and a friend of mine (who is a tattoo artist) and I are currently working on my first tattoo which will be “Vanity” (which is often used instead of “pride") – I’ll keep you updated on that, but I think this will still need a couple more months. ;)
